soy-1219880_1920Client: WWF Market Transformation Initiative
Year: 2015
Outcome: Factsheets on supply risks of 1) soy and 2) commodities in Greater Mekong region

WWF’s Market Transformation Initiative (MTI) works with the top 100 leading companies in the soft commodities sectors to reduce their impact on ecosystems. The MTI uses the Supply Risk Analysis (SRA) tool to help companies understand environmental and social risks in the places where commodities are produced. SRA is generating a growing body of risk information related to soft commodities, in the form of risk reports organized per country and per commodity. Currently, the SRA is used to engage companies and organizations in a process to jumpstart transformative action. The MTI would like to extend the use of the database for wider dissemination to a larger public. They asked Except Integrated Sustainability to pilot the use of factsheets.
